The Indian Lodge Hotel at Davis Mountains State Park

Indian Lodge at Davis Mountain State Park was built during the Great Depression by the Civilian Conservation Corps; it was one of the largest and most complex projects undertaken by the CCC.

Most of the young fellows in the CCC lacked skills but they learned to build all the furniture in the lodge from local trees.
