Mackinac Island has a road that goes around the entire perimeter of it ( which is just for bikes/ carriages/walking purposes). It is 8 miles from beginning to end. |
There must be a group of people that visit every place we do that do rock art. |

The island has a lot of cliff outcroppings. The revolutionary fort on the island, which is a post in it itself, sits on top of a huge cliff offering fantastic views. |
"The Arch"....too bad there were so many clouds---it would have really popped with a blue backdrop. |
About half this island is a state park and left to its natural beauty, which is why the state park was developed here..to stop time. |
