Mackinac Island - Bike riding the outskirts of town

Mackinac Island has a road that goes around the entire perimeter of it ( which is just for bikes/ carriages/walking purposes). It is 8 miles from beginning to end.

There must be a group of people that visit every place we do that do  rock art.

The island has a lot of cliff outcroppings.  The revolutionary fort on the island, which is a post in it itself, sits on top of  a huge cliff offering fantastic views.

"The Arch"....too bad there were so many clouds---it would have really popped with a blue backdrop.

About half this island is a state park and left to its natural beauty, which is why the state park was developed stop time.

Was this gazebo in "Somewhere in Time'?
