Black Star Vineyards and Leelanau Cheese--Oh, my!! Sutton's Bay, Michigan

Black Star is located in Sutton's Bay.  It is a beautiful vineyard, but so much more.
The Inn at Black Star where you can stay just in case you have a bit too much at the tasting room.
There is a fresh food market where they serve local produce, some of which they grow.
Fresh greens grown for the market and restaurant
And of course, the main attraction - wine, brandy, and cheese.
Our favorite was the pear brandy ( yes, that is a pear in the bottle) and the raspberry dessert wine.  Never had we tasted anything so delicious.  In the background you can see someone making cheese.
They specialized in a Switzerland cheese known as Raclette---a wonderful treat to your taste buds especially with that brandy!
Kobe was very curious about the goats (and the pigs)

There was an equestrian event going on. To the right of the Inn, you can see the vineyards.
